Tasting notes
Ruby red with increasing garnet hues due to ageing. Alluring aromas of violet, cherry and berries, combined with pleasant spicy notes. Round and velvety. Very elegant and supported by thick and smooth tannins. Persistent and intense on the finish.
Part of the mass ages for 27 months in 30 hl Slavonian oak casks, part in 50 hl French oak casks and a last small part in tonneaux. The choice of wood derives from the quality of grapes coming from different small plots of the Casi vineyard.
